Giff Constable of The Electric Sheep Company was on MSN recently. It is an interesting piece about job recruiters. Giff is always articulate and as much as he knows about Second Life and virtual worlds, he always keeps it simple when talking to people that are not familiar with them.

I’m cracking up after watching Lordfly’s youtube video. He introduces a new design called Cube Haus.
I love the video, it is well done, snarky, and snarky is often funny.
(Lordfly is a build of custom and prefab homes in SL. He is also a member of the podcast SecondCast)

135 mb of Baked Textures
SL Build: 260 Prims5 days, approx. 50 hours of work
All shots shown are in-world RealTime. All lighting is baked, SL lighting is disabled on all prims via. “full bright” option. This is a proof-of-concept for a larger build in the future .

Now why haven’t I heard about this? I just saw this on moo Money’s blog. Check her for more detail. But this sounds pretty cool. I’m surprised I have not heard of this. Not even one little peep. :-(
